  • Globally leading wallet and crypto exchange Coinbase (NASDAQ:) has initiated its coveted Wallet Gaming Days.
  • Users with Coinbase wallets can play games and complete in-game campaigns to earn exciting rewards.

Starting December 17th, players can participate in exclusive campaigns, tournaments, and quests with their Coinbase wallets in select games. The new initiative aims to generate positive engagement by inviting players with more opportunities to earn rewards this holiday season.

The US-based exchange has expanded its supported tokens list with numerous game tokens this year, the most recent being PYR. The initiative will highlight games from different chains now that the exchange supports tokens from some of the biggest titles in the sphere.

Incentivising Players to Try New Games

Coinbase is undoubtedly one of the world’s most influential and major crypto institutions. Despite the unfortunate market conditions, the exchange has continued expanding its ecosystem with new token listings.

The crypto institution shared that it aims to increase transparency for new asset listings on Coinbase. Coinbase has added exciting prospects such as Illuvium and Vulcan Forged and expects to add other successful Web3 gaming assets, including Aavegotchi’s GHST token.

The new Gaming Days initiative expects to put these titles onto gamers’ radars with incentives. Users can play five games to earn exclusive rewards.

Here are details about the ongoing event:

  • From 17th to 18th December, players can play Solana-based browser FPS, Ev.io’s tournament with a prize pool of $5000 USDC.
  • Starting December 19th, the first 5,000 Coinbase wallet users to connect to Pixels, a Polygon-based RPG, will receive an in-game mystery box.
  • On December 20th, the first 3,000 Coinbase wallet users to complete in-game tasks in the BSC-based RPG, MOBOX, will get an exclusive MOBOX Avatar. Additionally, the first 2,000 players to complete a special in-game campaign will get a MOMO NFT.
  • Starting December 21st, the first 10,000 players to complete special event tasks in the popular web3 esports title, Spider Tanks, will receive special Spider Tank Skins. The event will end on December 28th.
  • Lastly, starting December 22nd, the first 1,000 users to complete event assignments by December 30th in the Polygon-based PVP racing game Evaverse will receive an exclusive Purrtle Pack NFT.

  • Coinbase recently disabled NFT transfers on its wallet app in response to Apple’s 30% request on gas fees.
