DAZN it becomes Prime Video channel in Spain and Germany following an agreement entered into with Amazon which will allow subscribers of the e-commerce streaming service to quickly access sports content for an extra fee. To view DAZN in fact, an additional payment is required in addition to the subscription to the Amazon Prime service (which in Italy, we recall, currently costs 49.90 euros per year).

To keep in mind: the debut on Prime Video as a channel it does not mean that from now on DAZN will be included in the Amazon offer. In addition, existing DAZN subscribers will not be entitled to automatic access to the platform via Prime Video unless they sign up for a new subscription.

This collaboration will give Prime Video customers access to DAZN’s rich selection of live and on-demand sports content with a single click, for an additional monthly fee.

After Spain and Germany it will be the turn of the Japan, and many other countries will follow. Nothing official yet, but it is legitimate to imagine that DAZN will soon be available as a channel on Prime Video also in Italy.

This new partnership with DAZN is an exciting step forward for Prime Video’s global sports offering, giving our customers a wider choice of the best live and on-demand sports, all in one place – Jay Marine, Global Head of Sports of Amazon Prime Video.

This is great news for sports fans everywhere, with even more ways to access DAZN’s wide selection of premium sports content. We are excited to form a long-term global partnership with Prime Video as we continue to innovate in digital sports experiences for customers – Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN.

Among the channels available in Italy on Prime Video we mention Paramount+, Infinity, MGM, Lionsgate+, Eleven and Discovery+. As DAZN explains, “customers can pay only for the channels they want and cancel the subscription at any time“.
