How many Karans are too many Karans? Well, there can never be enough – at least according to author-entrepreneur Twinkle Khanna. The former actress shared an Instagram post about having met her close friend, filmmaker Karan Johar for dinner last night. This was followed by a lunch date with her cousin, Karan Kapadia, she added, posting selfies with the two men. Twinkle Khanna addressed the Karan overdose in her rather witty caption and said, “Karan for dinner last night and a Karan for lunch this afternoon. If only there was a Karan that was just right for dessert. Love you both Karan Kapadia and Karan Johar.”
Replying to the post, Karan Kapadia said, “Love you, Twinkle Khanna.”
Twinkle Khanna, a day ago, referred to Karan Johar in another fun post. In the image shared on Instagram, she is seen sipping on tea with her hair tied up in rollers. Explaining that she is on set for a shoot, she wrote, “Just rolling with it. On a set I am prone to mumbling, “Shoot me now,” though I secretly mean with a Nerf gun and not a camera, but then there are days like these when it’s all fun and games.”
Referring to Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan, Twinkle Khanna said, “Hmm…Can’t do Koffee with Karan again but Tea with Twinkle may not be a bad idea after all.” Interestingly, Karan Johar is currently shooting for the seventh season of the popular celebrity talk show. Twinkle Khanna had graced the show in its fifth season with her husband, Akshay Kumar by her side.
Following a brief stint as an actress, Twinkle Khanna switched to a career in interior design. She turned bestselling author in 2015 with her book Mrs Funnybones. Pyjamas are Forgiving, and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad are her other notable works as an author.
