With a post on his official blog, sony has updated the list of titles that will be available in the launch window of PSVR 2i.e. between February 22nd – release date of the new viewer – e end of March 2023. The list welcomes 13 new titles which include some welcome transposition of games already experienced by PC users.
Among the latter there is Pavlov, first-person shooter that is one of the most popular multiplayer titles for virtual reality. The game provides a realistic experience of interacting with a number of weapons, as well as online competitive and cooperative modes. We will be able to shoot down hordes of zombies in the company of three friends or look for the imposter in TTT mode.
Also not to be overlooked Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition. This is the title developed in collaboration with MGM and inspired by the films of Michael B. Jordan. In this case, the game will be replayed in an improved and more engaging version thanks to the increased power and new features offered by PSVR 2. Naturally, it won’t miss one online competitive mode which allows players to conduct a real match with real opponents.
Naturally, there is no shortage of new IPs among the proposals that are added to the list, such as Before Your Eyes. In this case we are talking about a decidedly peculiar title whose gameplay revolves around the emotions of the player. The game, in fact, represents a long journey through a series of memories, some joyful some heartbreaking, and the progress of the adventure will be influenced by the reactions of the players.
The title uses the PSVR 2’s front camera to detect the player’s eye blinks which will determine the course of history. A decidedly interesting and above all innovative experience developed by Skybound Games.
In short, the launch of PSVR 2 promises to be quite rich, between old acquaintances and new proposals, allowing those who decide to immerse themselves in Sony’s virtual reality to choose from a good variety of titles and genres capable of satisfying all palates.
