After starting the week on a strong note, stocks closed out the week on a sour note with the falling 2.8%. Several rumors made their way around the Street despite the intense selling pressure. Below we highlighted a few:

Brookdale Senior Living (NYSE:) jumped 20% today on word from Bloomberg News the company is exploring options including a potential sale. The company is said to be working with bankers.

Cano Health (NYSE:) gained 9% on reports from Bloomberg that CVS Health (NYSE:) is in exclusive talks to acquire the company. A deal between the two is not certain given Humana (NYSE:) has a right of first refusal if a buyer is found.

DraftKings (NASDAQ:) gained 3% on reports the company is nearing a new, large partnership with Walt Disney Company’s (NYSE:) ESPN.
