Luisin Malabrocca, Walter Bonatti and Alberto Tomba: they are the three legendary Italian sports stars of this show with Luca Argentero from 6 December on the platform that tells the stories of a trio of mythical figures of recent national history, from private life to career passing through how each of them has influenced the Italian culture and people. I’m Luisin Malabrocca, born in Tortona in 1920, inventor of the Maglia Nera, the cyclist who in the first Giro d’Italia after the war realized that finishing last made him likable in the eyes of the people; Walter Bonatti, born in Bergamo in 1930, the mountaineer who survived the chilling tragedy of the Central Pylon of FrĂȘney in 1961, the only one together with Gallieni to save themselves from a snowstorm which on the way back to Capanna Gamba exterminated his companions one by one; and finally the skier Alberto Tomba (born in Bologna in 1966), the Olympic champion nicknamed “Tomba the bomb”.
