on hrozontal axis you can nevigate the rates and on verticle axis you can find the time. with both these numbers you can find the appropriate rate for example if you want to find the annuity due value at 10% for 5 years then it will be in 8th column and 5th row 4.1699
alternatively instead of present value annuity due table, you can use this formmula :
PV of annuity due = (1+r)*(1-(1+r)^-n)/r
where,
r = rate= 10%
n = time = 5 years
PV annuity due factor = (1+0.10)*(1-(1+0.10)^-5)/0.10 = 4.1699
