Qualification
The Member (Traffic & Logistic) will be responsible for: (i) Marketing and Promotion of Inland Waterways Transport (IWT) activities; (ii) Development of project for transportation of IWT on National Waterways and follow uP thereof. (iii)PreparationandimplementationoflWTpromotionalschemes. (iv) Rendering commercial advice to run the organization on business PrinciPle. (v) Any other responsibility assigned by Chairman, IWAI’ 3’AsaMemberoftheAuthority,Member(Traffic&Logistics)willbe entitled for accommodation as per IWAI Rules, 1986

Desirable
Qualifications
Experience in works connected with Inland Waterways in dredging, river conservancy works, river training, marking of fairway, rules and regulations for safety of shipping and navigation. (ii) Experience in the logistics sector.

Officers in the Central / State Govt. / Statutory or Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertaking) Holding analogous posts OR Holding post in the next below Level in PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 7600/- with 5 years regular service; and b) Possessing the educational qualifications specified for direct recruits (deputation basis) as under Column 7 of IWAI’s Recruitment Rules (R.R.). Period of deputation shall not exceed 5 years.
