‘Padho-Grow’ campaign for the education of Muslim girls
Naqvi said that ‘3E’ i.e. Education, Employment and Empowerment is our goal. We are working hard to accomplish this. A ‘Padho-Grow’ campaign will be launched to encourage the education of Muslim girls. Work will be done to provide facilities and resources to educational institutions in remote areas where people do not send girls for education due to economic-social reasons.
Scholarship for Muslim Girls
>>Scholarship Scheme before Matriculation: Those minority girl students studying in government and recognized private schools, whose parents’ annual income does not exceed one lakh rupees and have secured at least 50 percent marks in the previous class.
>>Scholarship Scheme after Matriculation: This scholarship will be available to minority girl students studying from 11th to PhD level in government and recognized schools/colleges, institutions. The annual income of the parent or guardian should not exceed Rs 2 lakh. The student must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous class.
>>For Undergraduate and Postgraduate: Money is available for studying vocational and technical courses at the graduation and post graduation level. In this, the annual income of the parent should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh and the marks in the previous class should be at least 50 percent.

>>The Maulana Azad Foundation provides the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship for Talented Minority Girl students. Under this, till now the government has given money to 5,89,838 girl students.
>>Nai Roshni scheme is underway to provide training, information and resources to the women of minority community. Under this, 2.97 lakh women have got benefit in the last five years.
51 thousand rupees wedding omen
51,000 rupees are being given as marriage omen to Muslim girls who have taken Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship. Girls will be eligible for the benefit of this scheme after graduation. The objective of this scheme is to reduce the school dropout of minority girls and encourage them to complete their education.
