– We are looking for a software engineer who is an IT generalist, has great customer service attitude and genuine interest in all things IT.
– The job will involve significant customer interaction from consulting, support and services perspective. Travel to remote customer sites and occasional overnight work will be required.
– We are only looking for male candidates for this position.
Some of the technical skills which would be helpful to have are :
– Sql databases like Microsoft Sql server, Mysql, Oracle with knowledge about stored procedures, functions
– Object oriented programming languages like Java, C++
– General purpose scripting languages like: php, python, vbscript, perl
– Windows system administration
– Linux platform
– System administration tasks like email server setup, infrastructure security, active directory, data center management, hardware networking, remote user support etc.
– Smartphone platforms like android, iOs, blackberry, Windows Mobile
– Web applications development using various javascript frameworks and CMS systems like Drupal
– IT infrastructure management technologies like VMWare, AWS EC2
– Understanding of Accounting and ERP
Even if you dont have any of the above, we will still consider you. What we are looking for is analytical skills, good customer service attitude and strong fundamentals in Computer Science.
