The announcement of OnePlus 10T (and OxygenOS 13) dates back to a few days ago, and today it is the same OnePlus that returns to talk about its new top of the range. More specifically, the manufacturer reveals what will be the photographic compartment of the smartphone.

There will be no Hasselblad cameras on board. This does not mean that the collaboration between the two brands has been brutally interrupted, but more simply that OnePlus 10T will present itself as a different smartphone. The cameraphone title will therefore remain firmly anchored to OnePlus 10 Pro.

This does not mean, however, that the OnePlus 10T will not be able to take great photos. On the back we will find a triple chamber system: the main sensor is a classic Sony IMX766 50 megapixel, already present on other OnePlus smartphones among other things. According to the company, the choice derives from the fact that the sensor is already excellent for him and did not need other substitutes “excellent”.

The 1 / 1.56 “sensor will be flanked by OIS and EISand there will be too support for 10-bit photos. Alongside the Sony IMX766 there will be a camera ultra-wide with 119.9 ° viewing angle and a macro sensor. In short, a rather classic triplet of sensors, but the software also plays a fundamental role. OnePlus 10T in this regard will support the new algorithm ICE 2.0 (Image Clarity Engine), which will allow the smartphone to take more photos automatically and then choose the best shot in perfect autonomy. The improved ICE will allow the OnePlus 10T to capture even more images, so that you have the widest possible choice. Among other software goodies we will find support for HDR 5.0 and TurboRAW.

As for the night photos we will find the mode Nightscape which, in conjunction with the Sony sensor and the OIS, should allow us to obtain more than discrete images even in challenging lighting situations. The presentation of the 10T, OnePlus reminds us, is set for the August 3 nextin less than two weeks then!

In the teaser also published on the official website (and chosen as the cover of this article) you can see the back of the smartphone in black. Given the presence of sand, we think of a return of the legendary Sandstone Black, the coloring of OnePlus One. Speaking of hardware, from what has been leaked we talk about SoC Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. (or MediaTek Dimensity 9000), up to 12/256 GB of memory and battery with fast charging up to 150W. We talk about it here. In the meantime, here is an image taken by OnePlus 10T with ICE 2.0 and Super HDR.
