Zack Snyder, one of the main proponents of the DC Extended Universe, will return to collaborate with Warner Bros. and “the other” major US comic book house; but there is no mention of a new film about Justice League or Superman: this project is a bit more particular and atypical. The director will in fact make a cameo in a future episode (the 365th, to be precise) of the animated series Teen Titans Go!project already in the seventh season (and each season has more than 50 episodes).

According to The Hollywood Reporterwho first reported the indiscretion, the Titans will go to the Warner Bros. studio. looking for a director who makes the 365th episode particularly special. What you see below is a first official frame of the initiative. Teen Titans Go! she is quite used to this type of initiative – both in the sense of “meta” humor and in the sense of tribute / cameo of the most important characters in the DC world.

Zack Snyder has so far been the director of three DC superhero movies: Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Justice League. As we know the Justice League issue is a little more complicated than that – he was the original director, then had to go away due to a serious family bereavement, Joss Whedon returned to his place who, although he has not received official credit, has made several radical changes to the project, and in 2021 Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released which, with over 4 hours of duration, was an attempt to re-propose the original vision of the director.

In addition to this, Snyder has collaborated on the story and production of several other films, including the two Wonder Woman, and served as executive producer on the two Aquaman and the two Suicide Squads. At the moment it seems that the director has taken a break from other “serious” DC projects: he is working on a movie called Rebel Moon, and it will be a completely original space opera. However, he appears as executive producer of The Flash, which is slated for release in 2023 – assuming the controversy surrounding lead actor Ezra Miller doesn’t convince the company to twist the plans.
