Tesla announced the “return” of Model S and Model X in Europe and then Also in Italy. As we know, towards the end of last year, the American carmaker had decided to stop accepting new orders for these models from markets outside of North America. Officially, the manufacturer had declared that this choice had been made in order to fulfill the many orders already received and that were accumulating.
Recall, that with the new Model S and Model X, Tesla had faced some initial production problems that had delayed deliveries. At the time, no precise times had been communicated for the reopening of orders in the Old Continent.
Finally, the new Model S and Model X can be ordered again in Europe and therefore also in Italy. Currently, however, interested parties can order only the Model S Plaid and Model X Plaid models, those with three electric motors and the highest performance. Dual Motor models will be available in the course of 2023.
The first deliveries for the Plaid models will start between December 2022 and February 2023. I online configurators Tesla have already been updated. We briefly recall the specifications and prices for Italy of these two battery-powered models.
