One month after launch, set for September 9Nintendo dedicated a whole Direct lasting about 30 minutes a Splatoon 3, the latest chapter coming to Switch of the original squid and paint shooter. Then the PvE mode returns Salmon Run, where players team up against the computer to fend off ever-increasing hordes of enemies. In total at launch, the maps will be 12, but Nintendo has already specified that in the future there will be more through the release of Free DLC.

As far as the arsenal is concerned, nothing is missing: in fact, all the weapons of the past return to which, moreover, some innovations are added such as the Calamarco or the Blade wiper for close attacks and special weapons capable of shifting the balance of battles, but usable only by meeting certain conditions: and therefore a drinks dispenser will make an appearance by releasing temporary upgrades to the team, or you can take advantage of a device that emits impulses capable of identifying and eliminate the enemies.

A great focus of the live broadcast was then the component of character customization, an aspect that in Splatoon 3 has a particular depth and relevance, with lots of clothes and accessories to make your Inkling unique, male or female. And the grand finale was dedicated to the announcement of the mode Splattancecuriously inspired by Tetris and focused on 1 vs 1 clash: further details on this new option will be revealed in the coming weeks.
