The program, called Google Nest Trusted Testerrelies on the Centercode test service and looks for a

highly engaged group of testers who are willing to help Google Nest test an unreleased product

Participants in the program, which will focus on next generation design of the Google Home appthey must have devices Google Nest and sign a nondisclosure agreement.

But what does it mean “next generation design“? Maybe it could be something similar to what we saw at I / O 2022 in May, where Google had shown a redesigned Home app for Android tablets, which largely looks the same as today apart from an interface optimized for two-panel wide-screen devices.

At the moment there are no others indications, except as mentioned that participants will have to own a Nest device between:

  • thermostats
  • Wifi
  • speakers
  • display
  • video cameras
  • doorbells
  • locks
  • Nest Protect (smoke detectors)
  • Chromecast.

Plus the participants they must also

use the Google Home app or the Nest app to check products and create an account with Centercode to sign up, as well as having to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

Hopefully this design of Google Home next generation goes further the graphic aspect and improve performance, with a simplification of interactions and greater reliability. You can find any information at This Page.
