In February, the famous youtuber JerryRigEverything performed one of its usual endurance tests on the OnePlus 10 Pro: lo smartphoneduring the bend test, it broke very easily, leaving quite perplexed about the resistance of the device. OnePlus had promised a restyling of the inside with OnePlus 10Twhich however seems to have the same problems as the “older brother”. In any case, here you will find the complete review of the OnePlus 10T.

As with all Zach tests, it starts from the display: this starts at show the first signs of scratches at levels 6 and 7 of the Mohs scaleresult in line with practically all smartphones with glass screens, and it resists for about 20 seconds under the action of a direct flame. The display still shows a halo after the lighter test, which is quite common to many smartphones even in this case.
The side of the OnePlus 10T, unlike the OnePlus 10 Pro, is made of plastic: This is also the reason why there are no visible antennas along the entire edge of the smartphone. The back is of course also made of plastic. The cameras are instead protected by glass, so the risk of scratches is very low.
So we come to the fateful folding test: just like the older brother, OnePlus 10T also breaks without particular problems and without excessive force. The edge and the plastic back make it even easier: Zach literally manages to break the smartphone into duand, with the screen remaining the only part still whole after the test.
The reason for the break is essentially the same as the OnePlus 10 Pro: below the huge square that houses the cameras, inside the device, there is practically nothing and therefore this area is quite fragile (the break starts exactly from here). In reality, with OnePlus 10T the company tried to improve the situation by adding “more material” in this area, but it seems that not enough has been done given the results.
Below you can find the full video of JerryRigEverything. As for the Pro model, we recommend that you be especially careful not to sit on the OnePlus 10Tgiven how easy it is to fold.
