The second expansion of Back 4 Blood is on the way, the zombie-themed first-person shooter (even if they are called haunted here) born from the creators of Left 4 Dead (and now owned by TenCent): it’s called Children of the Worm, and the trailer has just been released. This time around, the survivors will have to contend with a new playable Cleaner, known as Prophet Dan, and his huge legion of cultists. The expansion will also include:
- 8 new character skins
- 12 new weapon skins
- new weapons
- new accessories
- new cards
- 6 new chapters
Recent reports describe an increase in attacks on survivors along the coast of the Kanowa River. While the motive for the attacks remains unknown, these disturbing events have a common thread – the attackers take unsuspecting groups by surprise, kidnap some victims and slaughter the rest. To help fight this unknown opponent comes “Prophet” Dan. He is a self-proclaimed Irish gunslinger of the end times, whose mission is to save his kidnapped flock from this new enemy.
As previously mentioned, the expansion will be available starting tomorrow on all platforms where the game is available, namely PC (Steam and Epic Games), Xbox and PlayStation current-gen and last-gen. The DLC is free for those who have purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of Back 4 Blood or the annual pass. The stand-alone price has not been revealed, but the first DLC Tunnels of Terror cost € 14.99, easy to imagine that we will be on those figures there.
