Thanks to two front speakers next to the optics, the projector directs the sound towards the projection surface, with the result that the audio seems to come from the image, thanks to the bounce of sound waves. A rear mounted woofer on the body of the projector then allows you to give more immersion in sound.
At the moment the device sold on the Chinese market, where a proprietary operating system allows the integration of advanced features, with the possibility of viewing screensaver with time and weather or to mimic the presence of a window. Very interesting is the possibility of using XGIMI Magic Lamp as wake-up lightsetting the projection of adawn with increasing brightness before the sound of the alarm, to facilitate awakening as natural as possible even in those contexts where it would be difficult, such as houses in the city or with very small windows. Of course, the lighting function is adjustable in intensity and color temperature, all with a remote control or with the smartphone app.
As we said, XGIMI Magic Lamp currently available only in China at a price of RMB 7,999, equivalent to approximately 1,170 Euros at the current exchange rate: for the landing in Europe, Chinese technicians are evaluating various options, including that of equipping the product with Android TV, as is the case with several of the other products in the range (such as Horizon Pro). This would mean to have less flexibility on the software side, most likely, with the waiver of the projection alarm function.
