Instructions
No separate letter for interview will be issued. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. The candidates should bring self attested photocopies of their academic and other achievements to be submitted along with the application. Original certificates shall also be required to be produced/shown at the time of interview The position is entirely on temporary basis and may be terminated on/before completion of the project depending on the performance of the candidate. He or she will not be the regular employees of the University and would not be entitled for any CPF/GPF or any other benefits admissible to the regular employees He/She will be required to produce a medical certificate of fitness from the CMO of this University at the time of joining. He/She would report for duty within 10 days from the date of issue of the orders, failing which his/her appointment shall be treated as withdrawn. His/Her place of work will be the department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry, LUVAS, Hisar He/she will be required to executive agreement on non judicial stamp paper of Rs/-15 before he/she is allowed to join the post, if needed. The appointment will be co-terminus with project. However, in case the work and conduct is not found satisfactory, the services can be terminated at any time after giving due opportunity of being heard to the concerned employee. If the selected candidate wants to leave, he/she can do so after giving one-month notice in writing to the University/department. On account of paucity of funds, the services can be terminated. The performance of the SRF engaged in the project must be reviewed six monthly by a team comprised of PI, PI(PMU) and Director of Research (DR). Accordingly, the extension of their term will be given. Those persons who are already in service must produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their present employers at the time of interview.

An independent University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences has been established w.e.f. 1.12.2010 in pursuance of the Haryana Act No. 7 of 2010 notified on 7th April, 2010. Lala Lajpat Rai, popularly known as “Punjab Kesri”, did his early legal practice at Hisar and also served as a Member and Secretary of the Hisar Municipality.
