Amazon has confirmed that the new Italian Original series I’m Lillo will be presented premiered during the Rome Film Fest and will be included in the non-competitive “Freestyle” section. It will be a great opportunity to get a taste before the official debut, which is expected sometime in 2023 on Prime Video.
This new production is directed by Eros Puglielli (The idols of women, Copperman, Nevermind) and was created by Pasquale Petrolo, aka Lillo, together with Matteo Menduni and Tommaso Renzoni who also took care of the subject and the screenplay.
We already know that the total episodes will be eight and alongside Lillo there will be characters such as Pietro Sermonti, Cristiano Caccamo, Sara Lazzaro, Camilla Filippi, Marco Marzocca, Maryna, Paolo Calabresi and Anna Bonaiuto. Finally, to complete the cast like guest star of each episode there will be some of the most loved faces on TV, such as Valerio Lundini, Edoardo Ferrario, Emanuela Fanelli, Caterina Guzzanti, Corrado Guzzanti, Stefano Rapone, Michela Giraud, Maccio Capatonda and Serra Yilmaz. A decidedly rich cast. This is how Amazon describes the series, a production with a clearly comic air.
Who is Posaman? A superhero, of course! And what is the super power of him? Knowing how to make cover poses. But who is hiding behind the costume? Well… there is Lillo.
