Blizzard announced that Dragonflightthe ninth expansion of World of Warcraft, will be available on November 29 at midnight. Many new features have been introduced that, in addition to four new fully explorable areasmake further changes to the game interface that becomes even more customizable.

Starting from the new contents, Dragonflight opens the doors of Dragon Islandsfour new areas each of which dedicated to each of the ancients Flocks of Dragons. “As the Dragon Islands awaken, so do the ancient forgotten secrets, and players will traverse these places across the sky and on the ground as they explore all that the Dragon Islands have to offer.“.

With Dragonflight also comes a new breed, the Drachtyr, capable of passing from a humanoid form to a more aggressive draconic form. This will also be accompanied by a new class, the Summonerwhich allows Drachtyr to participate in ranged battles such as attackers or healers.

With the expansion comes the new skill as well Draconic Flight which allows players to fly between the Dragon Islands on a draco. The latter possesses a customization system that allows millions of different combinations, guaranteeing each user to best express their personality and own a unique mount.

There also comes a new talent system along with the upgrade of the professions system, which allows players to manage skills according to their style of play and specialize as they prefer in their art. These join a new HUD (Head Up Display) and one new UI (User Interface) completely customizable, so as to obtain an engaging and tailor-made experience for everyone.

The November 29 update will introduce eight expeditionsfour of which can be tackled to reach the new level cap set at 70, while another four will be reserved for high-level players. The first foray, Vault of the Incarnationswill be unlocked on 13 December at all difficulty levels.

Dragonflight will be available in three editions:

  • Base Edition: Includes Drakks, a bonus pre-purchase pet that will accompany you on your adventures.
  • Heroic Edition: Includes Drakks, the bonus pre-purchase pet, the new Foskystrasza pet, an upgrade for a character of Dragonflight (level 60) and a Tangled Dreamweavers flying mount.
  • Epic Edition: Includes all Basic and Heroic Edition items, the Time Traveler Return Stone effect, Warden of Magic’s Diadem Head Transmog, Awakening Wings Back Transmog in five color variations, and 30 days of playing time.

It will not fail the physical collector’s editionavailable for pre-order directly on the Blizzard storewhich in addition to a code for the Epic Edition adds an artbook, a mouse pad and a set of five pins dedicated to each Dragonflight.
