Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planned a year of reconciliation with the royals but only after their Netflix docuseries and the Duke’s memoir came out, it has been claimed. But the Sussexes’ plans were reportedly dashed by the late Queen’s death.

Harry and Meghan are now said to want to make changes to the book and the show as both are seen as too critical amid fears truth bombs on King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla could thwart a reconciliation.

A source told The Sun: “Next year 2023 was to be their reconciliation year. They have always been careful to not criticise the monarch. They have always tried to be respectful to the Queen.

“But the Queen has now died and Charles and Camilla are the King and Queen. Clearly, this reconciliation attempt would never work if they have been critical of the new monarch, or both.”
