Tesla Model S and Model X, deliveries in Europe by the end of the year. In China they have the yoke steering wheel

It seems that Tesla may, for once, meet the expected delivery times. We refer to new Model S and Model Xfor now available only in version Plaid in Italy, which could reach the first lucky customers by the end of 2022.

This is actually a half-fulfilled promise, as the cars were expected last year, but the industry’s known production problems had prompted Tesla to postpone it to 2022. This time it looks like there will be no further postponements, with some German customers – you can learn it on the dedicated forums – that they have already received notice that the car will be delivered on time.

Furthermore, according to American sources, the European versions, different for the presence of the CCS charging socket, were spotted in the yards of the Fremont factory, ready to be shipped. We are talking about very high performance electric cars which, as mentioned, for the moment can only be ordered in the Plaid version, while for the normal Long Range we must wait a little longer. Let’s talk about prices of at least 140,990 euros for the Model S and and at least 144,990 euros for Model X.

In China, another market where these two models are highly anticipated, it seems that things will go more or less the same way. Here they have also been sighted the first specimens (pictured above). From the images published in the local media we also discover that the steering wheel mounted on these cars the controversial yoke, a clue that could suggest its use on a global level. Some Chinese customers have also already received the notice to complete the payment, a sign that Tesla may have chosen to give a minimum of priority to the Asian market.
