One UI 5 nearing its debut, Samsung emphasizes the new features

Bixby Text Call will allow the Bixby Voice voice assistant to answer phone calls for us when we don’t have the chance. With Bixby Text Call you can answer phone calls by typing a message that will be converted into audio and, at the same time, the interlocutor’s voice will be converted into text. This function could be very useful, for example, when you are in noisy environments or in places where it is necessary to keep silence so as not to cause disturbance.

Among the other new features of One UI 5 are the Custom routineswhich allow you to activate a sequence of actions based on your activities, the Mode that allow you to create settings for different moments of the day, the more intuitive notifications and more defined answer and reject keys when receiving a call. Furthermore, with the One UI 5, the Video Wallpaper functionso far only present in the Good Lock app, now integrated into the lock screen allowing you to choose a video, cut it and customize it.

The One UI 5 also offers new options for widgets which can be aggregated, taking up less space, to be then chosen with a simple swipe to the left or right. Widgets can also suggest apps and actions based on the use of the device by the user and the context in which they are located. There is also a function that allows you to easily extract text from images.

Also renewed the menu relating to Connected devices which allows you to easily control all the devices that are connected to the smartphone and to access the Quick Share, Smart View and Samsung DeX functions. Also present a easy access to the Buds earphones menu to quickly switch between devices.
