Now, however, are popping up on the net full display specificationsdisclosed by the developer Kuba Wojciechowski: according to him, both the internal display (to be clear, the folding one) and the external one will be produced by Samsung. In particular, the internal display will have a resolution of 1840 x 2208 pixels (For comparison, Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a resolution of 1812 x 2176 pixels).

Wojciechowski stated that the internal display will have a peak brightness of 1200 nits, with an average brightness that will be around 800 nits. To top it all, there will be the 120Hz refresh rate supporteven if Wojciechowski says he is not very sure about the latter specification.

The diagonal of the internal screen should be about 7.6 inches (this information, however, dates back to January 2022).

Only “certainty” on Pixel Fold are the cameras: several rumors speak of a Sony IMX787 primary sensora Sony IMX386 ultra-wide sensor (this is the same sensor mounted on Pixel 6) and finally the Samsung S5K3J1 tele sensor.

And that’s it: the information regarding Pixel Fold is very little and therefore we will hardly actually see Google’s first foldable smartphone by the end of the yearas it was said in a fairly old rumor dating back to 2021. So the appointment is in 2023.
