Two free courses open to young people and one goal: strengthen digital knowledge and encourage the approach of girls And Boys to the world of IT security. They are called OliCyber And CyberTrials and they are both organized by the foundation Security and Rights in CyberSpace (Serics)and from Cybersecurity National Lab of the National Inter-University Consortium for Information Technology (Cini), which has been involved for years in bringing the academic world, schools, institutions and individuals into a system to offer the opportunity to thousands of young people to grow in a conscious digital world. This is the purpose of OliCyberthe Italian cybersecurity Olympicsnow in its third edition.

Olicyber and the first national competition on the IT security aimed at high school students and students, who are offered the opportunity to access an exclusive training program that includes all the key knowledge needed to navigate the world of digital threats. But the Olympics are also one competitionwhich will see young ethical hackers juggle lines of code and vulnerabilities, to determine who are the most talented among Italian schools.

The Big Game of the Laboratory also includes the innovative path of CyberTrials: a school aimed at all students of second degree institutes on the national territory designed to involve even those who have no previous knowledge in computer science. The participants will in fact be guided by experts of the highest level on the path of the non-technical principles of the digital world, from the identification of a threat to the main forensic investigation techniques. Knowledge and methodologies whose purpose is to strengthen the response capacity against the threats of the future, to regain control of the IT world together.

The two programs anticipate the opening of registrations, next November 3, from CyberChallenge.it: the national school for train the country’s ethical hackers. The flagship of the Great Game of the Lab, CyberChallenge.IT is the first national training program for young talents between 16 and 24 yearsdesigned to form i cyberdefender of the future, in a world that increasingly depends on the defense capabilities of its digital assets. Participants will compete nationally in a series of IT challenges that fully emulate the threats faced by companies and public administrations. In this virtual arena the best will also be chosen, who will have the opportunity to enter the TeamItaly: the Italian national team of cyberdefender.

The initiatives are open and free of charge and are recognized as Transversal pathways for skills and guidance (Ptco).
