Cyberpunk 2077: Sasha Gray will be a radio speaker in the Phantom Liberty DLC

Over the course of 2023, we will welcome Phantom Libertythe first and only narrative expansion of Cyberpunk 2077. We remind you that in this period the action RPG of CD Projekt RED is living in all respects a ‘second youth’, thanks to the success of the animated series Edgerunners – available now on Netflix – and the recent reveal of the DLC in question.

The Polish team has unveiled new details on the Phantom Liberty, with specific references to a new radio station that will be introduced in the game: the broadcasts. from 89.7 Growl FM will be conducted by Ashplayed by Sasha Gray. Does the name tell you something?

Phantom Liberty: a music competition dedicated to DLC

On Twitter, CD Projekt RED announced the creation of a new radio station to which it will be possible to tune in during the adventure of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. For the occasion, the developers have launched a competition with which it invites users to create “a music track worthy of a Night City star” to win “great prizes”.

To participate, you will need to compose a piece inspired by the published video on Growl FM official website. According to the requirements indicated by CD Projekt, the instrumental tracks or songs must be in English, Spanish, Japanese or Chinese and must have a duration between 2 and 3 minutes. The song must be saved in PCM WAV Stereo 24bit format. It is forbidden to use or sample copyrighted music, as well as to copy verses or lines from other songs verbatim. “The track must be an original piece”we read in the regulation.

Competition will end on November 30, 2022. CDPR will select between 12 and 15 tracks: these will be included in the musical rotation of Growl FM and, therefore, will be included in the soundtrack of the Phantom Liberty expansion. The winners will also be awarded with $ 3,000, bags of products branded ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ and the Elements Suite from iZotope.

Apparently, Sasha Gray will lend her voice to the radio speaker, as announced on Twitter by the same American actress and writer. Famous for starring in numerous adult films, Gray is a huge video game enthusiast and regularly broadcasts on Twitch sharing her favorite titles with her followers, including Elden Ring And Cult of the Lamb.

Ash’s voice actress was greeted by Pawel Sasko, Quest Director of Cyberpunk 2077 currently working on the Phantom Liberty expansion. Sasko himself, a few days ago, announced that his company will inaugurate a new studio based in Boston, Massachusetts. The American team will collaborate with the Vancouver and Warsaw studios to create Orion, the code name of the new game set in the Cyberpunk science fiction universe.
