HONOR 70 is the debut smartphone of the brand new Sony IMX800 Super Sensing sensor. It is the first 54 megapixel camera on the market. This brings many improvements for the end user.

This is mainly possible thanks to algorithms HONOR RAW that allow you to improve photographic shots in many widely used photographic scenarios, such as portraits (even at night and backlit), landscapes, macro or selfies. As we know, an image is usually captured by the sensor in a “raw” way, collecting all the information and then transforming this data into a JPG file, which is then optimized by the system thanks to its algorithms. In the case of HONOR RAW, on the other hand, the changes for the improvement of lights and shadows and the improvement of the general image quality take place at the level of raw data (RAW) and are then also found in the final JPG file, more convenient for saving and sharing.

This system is a better solution than the YUV model (on JPG) because it guarantees superior image quality.

Even with the lighting of just 1 lux (i.e. the light of a candle) HONOR 70 manages to create a high quality image without any waiting. This is because the smartphone captures more frames when the shutter button is pressed and instantly analyzes them at the RAW level to increase dynamic range and also increase contrast.

HONOR was the first to recognize it as fundamental in the work of a video blogger the need to shoot not only the surrounding environment but also a subject, while keeping it in the foreground. This is why the company was the first to introduce double video recording in HONOR 70. And now in HONOR 70 it raises the stakes with the new Solo Cut function that allows you to simultaneously record two different clips from the same camera, one that frames the surrounding landscape. and one that automatically follows the subject of the scene.

This is possible thanks to the power of the processor and the algorithms of HONOR that allow you to recognize the faces of people within the scene.

Both before and after starting the video it is possible to touch the face of the chosen subject and at this point the smartphone will create a second movie in Full HD at 30fps with your “star” always at the center. The video can be both vertical and horizontal and it is also possible to change the foreground subject while shooting.
