The two cleaning cloths are automatically moistened before the start of the washing operation and cleaned, always automatically, when this is completed or when cleaning continues for a period predefined by the user and it is necessary to wash them before proceeding. At the end of the cleaning, the two cloths are washed for the last time and then dried, in order to avoid the formation of odors: the fully automatic procedure and it requires a fairly long time, during which the base generates a slight background noise that is absolutely not annoying generated by the air being blown. From the APP it is possible to set both how long it takes for the robot to return to the base to carry out the automatic cleaning of the two mops (10, 15 or 25 minutes), and how long the final drying of the mops with hot air lasts (2, 3 or 4 hours).
Used for vacuuming floors only, Deebot X1 Omni takes full advantage of all the technologies implemented by Ecovacs in its latest models. Not only does it faithfully follow the entire surface of the home environment but thanks to the front cameras avoids getting stuck on objects that may be present on the floor. The large battery allows you not to have to interrupt the cleaning operation for an intermediate recharge, but if the house is very large, the robot will manage itself by charging as much as necessary. The noise generated during use is linked to the suction power that is selected, but also by setting the most vigorous one, the operation is never annoying.
By switching to the floor washing mode, the quality of the two rotating brush system is confirmed: the action is more incisive and continuous than that typical of robots equipped with a vibrating plate. Apart from this the automated system that cleans the two rotating cloths ensures that the floor is always well cleaned avoiding that the clothes, once dirty, do nothing but distribute the dirt even more on the floor.
At the end of the washing operation the only thing to worry about is to empty the dark water tank, so as to avoid the formation of unpleasant odors.
