Ducati Streetfighter V4, in 2023 the hyper-naked range evolves

After unveiling the exclusive Panigale V4 R, Ducati presented the new Streetfighter V4 2023 family composed of the V4, V4 S and V4 SP2 models. The Streetfighter V4 and V4 S models will be available from January 2023 in dealerships across Europe, while the SP2 version will arrive from March 2023. Prices start at € 22,990.

For 2023, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 has been further refined, introducing some of the innovations that have already arrived for the Panigale V4. Its sporty character is immediately understood as the standard configuration provides a single seat with saddle and passenger footrests supplied. The bike continues to have a minimalist look with the full-LED headlamp and its V-shaped DRL reminiscent of the front of the Panigale V4.

The fuel tank has the same shape as the one introduced on the Panigale V4 2022, which have been designed to better support the driver during braking and cornering. The capacity is 17 liters. The “Front Frame” and the Desmosedici Stradale are left as visible as possible. In the V4 S version, the bike is also offered in the “Gray Black” livery.

Ducati has also introduced some new electronics. In fact, the logic of the Power Modes already introduced with Ducati Panigale V4 and V4 S arrives, naturally with calibrations dedicated to the Desmosedici Stradale engine in the Streetfighter configuration. The There are four engine delivery strategies: Full, High, Medium, Low. Full and Low are newly designed, while High and Medium have been revised in the strategy.

The Streetfighter V4 in the 2023 version sees the introduction of the unprecedented Wet Riding Mode to make driving even safer on low-grip surfaces. The standard equipment is enriched by the lithium-ion battery for the S version (1.7 kg lighter than the previous one, and already supplied to Streetfighter V4 SP).

News also for the digital dashboard. The graphics have been revised in all views, to make the information simpler and more descriptive and to support the calibration of the various parameters. The Streetfighter V4 2023 also evolves thanks to the new Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO 2 software which guarantees better stability, precision and directionality in the braking and insertion phases and the possibility for the rider to define the electronic setup with greater precision for each use. The new strategy for the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) also arrives, which improves the fluidity of shifting at every degree of opening of the accelerator, both when the latter is partialized and when it is completely open, dealing with the two different situations in a different way.

There are also news regarding the chassis. We find a Front Frame and single-sided swingarm, both in aluminum, with upside-down fork and mechanically adjustable shock absorber on the V4 version. The Streetfighter V4 S, on the other hand, is equipped with semi-active Öhlins suspension (NIX30 upside-down 43 mm fork and TTX36 shock absorber) with SmartEC 2.0 interface. Furthermore, on the V4 S version, the rims are Marchesini forged in aluminum alloy.

The beating heart of this bike is the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale, capable of deliver 208 hp (153 kW) at 13,000 rpm and 123 Nm in Euro-5 configuration. Dry weight of the bike of 180 kg (178 kg for the S version).

For those who want even more, Ducati has presented the new Streetfighter V4 SP2 (numbered series), ready to hit the track. This bike is equipped with 5 split-spoke carbon rims, 1.4 kg lighter than the forged aluminum ones mounted on the Streetfighter V4 S and capable of reducing the moment of inertia by 26% at the front and 46% at the rear. . In addition, the braking system adopts Brembo Stylema R front brake calipers.

The Desmosedici Stradale is equipped with the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, which guarantees a better anti-skip function, even in the most aggressive downshifts. The Öhlins suspension with springs and hydraulics identical to those of the Panigale V4 also stand out as standard. Finally, we also find the aluminum adjustable footrests machined from solid that increase the lean angle and allow the rider to find the optimal position in the saddle. Dry weight of 177 kg.

There is a wide range of accessories, which allows you to customize the Streetfighter V4, starting from the full-racing Ducati Performance exhaust by Akrapovic which allows a reduction of the total weight of 5 kg and raises the maximum power to 220 HP.
