On December 16 debuts on Netflixin all countries where the service is active, the first original Italian reality show: SUMMER JOB, produced by Banijay Italia and conducted by Matilde Gioli, making her debut as a presenter. But what is it about?

How will SUMMER JOB work? 10 competitors between the ages of 18 and 23 are chosen to spend a dream vacation in a paradise villa in Mexico, on the Riviera Maya. Parties and fun seem to be the only thing they will have to think about. What they don’t know, however, is that in order to continue the adventure and experience the most incredible vacation of their life, they will have to do something they have never done in their life: to work.
After the first 24 hours in which they will be able to enjoy all the comforts provided, they will discover that everything has a cost and that to live an exotic dream adventure the price to pay will be to face their first work experience. To collect the weekly budget and continue the fun, they will have to work in some of the Riviera’s local businesses under the supervision and judgment of very demanding bosses. Divided into groups of 2 or 3 people each, they will compete every week in different summer jobs (waiters, assistants at the animal shelter, maintenance and gardening staff).
Those who will not complete the work assigned to them by their employer or will not do it with commitment and dedication, will not receive the paycheck at the weekend and will be at risk of elimination.
Between new friendships, tears, laughter, loves and misunderstandings, challenges and eliminations, Matilde Gioliwill guide and accompany them in this path of sudden, and for them, entirely new responsibilities.
