In recent times, Android Auto (the differences between the interface and the other functions of Google for mobility) was the protagonist of a real Revolution. First came the end of the race of the smartphone version, then came the turn of Assistant driving mode, while the version dedicated to car screens should receive the long-awaited Coolwalk interface shortly.
In the meantime, however, the new Pixel 7s have been announced, and it seems that someone in Google did not notify the app development team, as numerous users have reported problems with compatibility.

As can be seen in this post on the help forum of Google, in fact, the owners of the last smartphone of the brand encounter a number of bugs, ranging from warning that Android Auto it’s not compatible with the smartphone, to the impossibility of start the app and even that this one cannot be downloaded from the Play Store.
A setback that is anything but rare, hardware Google that doesn’t get along with software Google. Several users have posted generic solutions which provide for the reinstallation of Android Auto or the deletion of the cache and gods data stored on the device, but to no avail.
Eventually, given the scale of the problem, the Mountain View home has taken in hand the situation, and after a couple of weeks a company representative posted on the same forum that the problem was solved.
The fix has been implemented server side for the Pixel 7 And Pixel 7 Proso affected users don’t have to do anything other than plug their new phone into the car and check that everything is working as it should.
Meanwhile, Android Auto has recently updated to version 8.4 and … the new interface Coolwalk not yet arrived.
