After announcing the relaunch of the GSe brand, and having applied this sporty and electric connotation to the new Astra, now Opel expands the offer by adding Grandland GSe.

The Plug-in hybrid SUV, just like Astra, it therefore receives the new logo, and new specific components, designed to offer better performance and a sporty character, typical of GSe cars. Remember, the sub-brand now indicates more sporty cars, but thanks to electrification.

In the case of the Grandland GSe the basis is a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine, which is flanked by two electric motorsone per axis, for a total of 221 kW of power, or about 300 hp. Thanks to the presence of two electric units, the SUV also a four-wheel drive, with an acceleration at the top of the category, with the 0-100 covered in 6.1 seconds. The maximum speed reaches 235 km / h, 135 km / h when setting the 100% electric mode.

As already happened with the Astra, also Grandland mounts specific components to improve feeling and performance. The specially tuned steeringmore precise and direct, and works in conjunction with the shock absorbers, equipped with stiffer springs, for a better set-up, and KONI FSD technology (F.requencyS.electiveD.amping), which combines handling with comfort.

Obviously the car also stands out in terms of aesthetics, with the completely black Vizor front, bumpers with contrasting details, and possibly also the black hood, can be ordered on request. At the rear, the sporty diffuser and the GSe logo stand out. The whole is completed by i 19 “wheels inspired by the Manta concept.
