On the Samsung browser comes the synchronization of bookmarks with Chrome and much more

The Samsung browser (called Samsung Internet) is one of the best available for Android. Not only is it rapid, attentive to privacy e packed with featuresbut continues to receive constants updates, factors that together with the fact of being pre-installed on Samsung smartphones have allowed it to occupy one considerable slice from market.

The last one updatewhich takes the browser to the version 19.0.1.2it is then particularly full of news that we had glimpsed in the beta of August, one above all the favorites synchronization with Google Chrome. Let’s find out all of them.

Synchronization of bookmarks with Google Chrome

With the latest update, Samsung Internet Browser allows all users to synchronize bookmarks with Google Chrome. To enable the feature, you must log in with yours Samsung account on the browser in Android.

1. Start the browser in the device
2. Click on the button Hamburger (three horizontal lines at the bottom right)
3. Select Settings
4. Click on Synchronize with Samsung Cloud and log in

1. Subsequently, on the PC started Chrome and download extension Samsung Internet Chrome
2. Log in with your account Samsung. From there select the option Chrome bookmarks and therefore It matters.

For this to work, make sure you have updated or downloaded the latest Samsung browser (19.0.1.2) from Play Store or from Galaxy Store.

Curiously, Samsung hasn’t added bookmark syncing to the official changelist.

Security and privacy

Among the new features of the update, there are also improvements from the point of view of security and privacy:

• the new function ‘Privacy information‘accessible on any website by clicking on the padlock icon in the address bar.
• Smart Anti-Tracking is now able to intelligently identify domains using cross-tracking. The tool can now block access to cookies.
• With Samsung Internet 19, users will be notified when they try to log in malicious sites known.
• Samsung Internet now allows third-party apps to offer content blocking filters

Widgets and extensions

Finally, there are news regarding widgets and extensions:

• The Samsung Internet widget now allows you to check your recent search history
• THE additional components are now available when using Samsung Internet in secret mode. To use this new feature, users will need to enable the ‘Allow in secret mode‘for each add-on individually.
