The new Pixel 7s have been out for about a month, but it’s already time to think about the future. “WinFuture”, in fact, has provided interesting advances on the processor (Tensor G3) that could debut on the future Pixel 8. In particular, the production of the new chip – which has the code name of “Zuma” – would have been entrusted to Samsung with the 3 nm manufacturing process. In detail, it could be a modified version of theExynos 2300despite the future of the latter on the next Galaxy S23 is still quite uncertain.
Other details concern the modem that will mount the next processor and which should not change compared to what has already been seen on the Tensor G2: in fact the modem would be the 5G G5300. Furthermore, as can always be seen from the same report, the Tensor G3 could count on 12 GB of RAM and a display of 2268×1080 pixels and 2822×1344 pixels. In short, the future Pixel 8 and 8 Pro should guarantee really excellent performances.
Among other things, the code names of the new smartphones of the Mountain View giant have also emerged, namely “Husky” and “Shiba”.
Finally, in the past few days, other details have leaked about the alleged next-generation Pixels. From the design point of view, for example, there should be no big news: it would seem, in fact, confirmed the rear bar for the camerawhile the software, predictably, will be the new major update of Android, namely the 14which will come under the name of “Upside Down Cake”.
Obviously all this is to be taken with a grain of salt since today it is exclusively rumors all to be confirmed. What is certain is that Google is working hard on future smartphones to be offered to users.
