Remedy Entertainmentthe Finnish studio he carried out Alan Wake and the first chapters of Max Payne, officially to work on Control 2. This is the sequel to the space-time manipulation action game that, released in 2019, won over 20 Game of the Year awards and sold more than 3 million copies.
Like its predecessor, Control 2 will be produced by 505 Gamesthe Italian label controlled by Digital Bros and founded by the brothers Abramo Rami and Raffaele Raffi Galante. For this project will be allocated 50 million euroswhile the game will be developed on the technological platform Northlight by Remedy.

Formerly known by the code name of HeronControl 2 will remain an intellectual property of Remedy and will be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. While the console versions will be distributed by 505 Games, the PC counterpart will be self-produced by Remedy itself. At the moment it has not yet been announced whether the latter will be an exclusive Epic Games Store as happened in the case of Alan Wake 2 (the same first chapter was co-financed by Epic to ensure the exclusivity of the distribution on PC).
There are no details on Control 2 yet, other than the concept art that accompanied Remedy’s Twitter announcement.
