NZXT extension announced the arrival of support for a IFTTT for management and monitoring software NZXT CAM. Through the interaction between the software and the automation protocol it will be possible to create entirely new functions using NZXT hardware or compatible devices and remotely manage your computer.
IFTTT is an acronym for “if this then that“, that is, in the event that a certain circumstance occurs, we can tell the system to react with a pre-set function. The protocol works with most of the most used services such as Google, Amazon or Spotify.

In this way, all the data present in NZXT CAM can be used to build completely personalized interactions with other devices. For example, you can set a CPU temperature threshold beyond which the system will have to activate the air conditioner to refresh the room. Alternatively, you can choose to illuminate the case red if the ambient temperature detected by the thermostat exceeds a certain limit.
“Let’s say you want to create a recurring meeting with your boss in Google Calendar. After a few simple settings, at the start of the meeting the setup will light up red and a GIF of Darth Vader will appear on your Kraken Z. In this way it will be impossible to forget an important meeting or any other reminder“.
Finally, NZXT anticipates that the CAM development team is currently focused on optimization and stability, but many more features will come over time. Meanwhile, the company invites all of its users to share the funniest interactions on its social channels Twitter, Instagram And Tik Tok.
