Xiaomi is ready to launch its new flagship smartphone series in China. In fact, the company has already confirmed that the new models will have top-level technical specifications, starting with the presence of the new Qualcommit Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. As for the naming of the unpublished devices, still no news, although it is expected that they will be called “Xiaomi 14” (thus skipping “series 13”).
The launch, however, would have been expected in the month of December 2022 (in Europe at the beginning of 2023), while some characteristics of a model identified with the model number “2211133C” (supposed to be the “standard” model) appeared on the “3C”. This device will have at most 12GB of RAM, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 clocked at 3.2GHz, while the software will be based on the MIUI 14 (Android 13). The cameras – inserted in a square-shaped module – will be three, including the 50MP main sensor. The display will have a 6.2″ diagonal with FullHD+ resolution, with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Finally, the battery will be 5,000 mAh with support for 67 W fast charging. Still on the charging side, some rumors in the past suggested the hypothesis that the “Pro” variant had supported support for 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging (in this regard, however, not there is still no confirmation). In any case, the debut of the new Xiaomi series should be close, at least in China. So a little more patience on the part of users and everything will be revealed.
