The first thing to do is download afree app call Shortcut makerwhich allows you to create a shortcut on your Android home screen for anything you want.

The app is full of options and you can set every aspect of the icons, but in this guide we will simply see how to create anicon for an app that doesn’t follow the theme of Android 13.

  1. Install Shortcut maker
  2. Touch and hold on the home screen and select Widgets
  3. Scroll down and select Shortcut maker
  4. Drag Shortcuts (Standard) on the home screen
  5. Select App
  6. Find an app you want to create a themed icon for. In this example we will use Send Anywhere
  7. Touch Icon

You will now see your app icon (which is actually a widget) on the main screenthemed and seamlessly integrated with other apps.

We advise you to use the widget because if you use the shortcut you will see a small arrow at the bottom which spoils its appearance.
