Sen. Joni Ernst, Iowa Republican, recently said the Democrats are giving middle America the “middle finger” by trying to replace Iowa with South Carolina as the first presidential nominating state (“Sen. Joni Ernst: Dems gave Midwest ‘the finger’ by switching up primary schedule,” Web, Dec. 4).

Making a nominal procedural alteration is kid’s stuff compared to what we’ve gone through during the past two years. The Democrats have giving the American people the middle finger ever since six swing states shut down voting in the middle of the night. And then we got the double middle finger when the Biden administration willingly reduced our energy independence, which sparked inflation and opened the southern border to the hemisphere’s most illiterate and destitute peasants, causing an immediate diminishment of our standard of living and quality of life.

Each morning I open the newspaper and/or read news websites wondering how the Democrats are going to give me the middle finger that day. And they never seem to disappoint, most notably recently with their Twitter scandal.

Until the inauguration of a new president who doesn’t give me the middle finger every time he opens his mouth or picks up his pen, I, along with millions of hardworking Americans, are in “Survive ‘til ‘25” mode to get us out of this four-year national nightmare.
