Last May ADS-TEC Energy had presented a new model of column dedicated to ultrafast charging, announcing its availability at a later time, but without revealing much from a technical point of view.
Today the company opens orders for Europe, in effect revealing the main characteristics that explain the potential of the product. The highlight of ChargePostthis is the name, remains the “boost” offered by battery integrated in the column.

Inside the column there is a battery that can vary between 144 and 201 kWhthus ensuring plenty of power and capacity for several charging sessions.
The column presents two CCS Combo connectorswith maximum power of 300 kW, 150 kW in the case of two simultaneous recharges. Also confirmed large display on the side, 75″ diagonal, suitable for marketing activities related to the charging station, or in the case of a private charging station for company-related activities. ChargePost is in fact also recommended for car dealerships that need a fast charging point, but don’t want to or can’t do adjustment work, petrol stations, offices, but also condominiums that can meet the needs of multiple users with a single column . There is also a form for any top-up payment without authentication methods. However, the price is still unknown.
