There PC version of The Last of Us Part I will be available from March 3, 2023. The announcement came with a dedicated trailer during The Game Awards 2022. It’s about the remake of the first chapter released in 2013then remastered for PS4 and already landed in a totally renewed guise on PS5 in the summer (our impressions here).
The now acclaimed interest of Sony Playstation for the PC sector therefore continues: God of War, Horizon and now The Last of Us, without forgetting the announcement of Returnal right at the TGA. The PC version of The Last of Us Part I can already be pre-purchased at Steam and Epic Game Store at € 59.99, but at the moment the system requirements are not indicated.
The Last of Us Part I looks like total overhaul of the original experience. The game offers modern gameplay, improved controls and expanded accessibility options. Furthermore, there is no shortage of expanded effects and other novelties: from the PC version we expect platform-specific optimizations such as the integration of some technologies including DLSS and FSR.
