Porsche is working to complete the development of the electric Macan, a new SUV that is very important for the electrification strategy of the German car manufacturer. Over time they have emerged several spy photos of this car that portray it engaged in tests on the road or on the track at the Nurburgring. Now, new images have arrived that allow you to give one more look at the interior of the electric SUV.
DEBUT IN 2024
The images of the passenger compartment, albeit partially camouflaged, show practically definitive interiors, a sign that the development of the car has now reached a good stage. So, we can see, for example, the digital instrument panel and thelarge central screen of the infotainment system. On the central tunnel you can also see the touch controls for changing the settings of the climate control system and the seat heating system.
You can see something more from the photos taken from afar since, in this case, the inner sheets had been removed. For example, in addition we can observe the presence of the Sport Chrono package which provides for an analog clock inserted in the dashboard.
The new electric SUV, as we know, will debut in 2024. The German automaker, in the middle of last November, had shared some further details of his new car. The electric Macan which, as known, will be based on the new PPE platform, will be able to count on a powertrain consisting of two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. The most performing version will have around 610 HP with 1,000 Nm of torque. To ensure long journeys, the battery pack will offer a capacity of approximately 100 kWh.
Thanks to the 800 V architecture, Porsche aims to deliver high power refills (up to 270 kW) to reduce energy supply times as much as possible. Since the debut is still some time away, further information on the development of the electric Macan will surely emerge.
