Check the technical sheet of Samsung S23 Ultra, but something does not add up

It looks just like the Samsung Galaxy S23 scalpitino to come out in the open. After the information leaked less than two weeks ago by the FCC (the US body that regulates telecommunications), now it’s the turn of its Chinese counterpart, the TENAA, which reveals new details about the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The Chinese certifying body is in fact the source of the major leak on the device registered so far, but showing up kind of screen, processor, cameras And battery of the next korean top there confuse ideas. Let’s find out why.

This morning, the Galaxy S23 Ultra (model number: SM-S9180) has been featured in the TENAA listings, revealing all the major specs of the device.

But cameras are quite difficult to understand.

First of all, S23 Ultra it should have the 200MP camera and secondly what is this 2MP sensor? Last year, the S22 Ultra came with four cameras: a 108MP main, 10MP ultrawide, 10MP tele 3x, and a 10MP 10x zoom periscope, and we know the new S23 Ultra it shouldn’t differ much from this lineup, other than the main one.

But now the TENAA reports anything else. As for i 12MP sensorsimage upscaling by Samsung from 10 MP images may be reported. And so far so good. The 2 MP sensor on a top worth more than 1,000 euros clashes a lot, and one cannot think of a depth sensor. One possible explanation is that it is a mistake, and that it is always 12 MP (the periscope with 10x zoom, which in fact TENAA reports as zoom factor 10 times), but on a official document of a certifying body?

Even the camera from 108MP makes the nose turn up a bit, and would bury a series of hopes fueled by the announcement of new sensors over the last year.

The other question concerns the battery. TENAA reveals a unit from 4,855mAh, which will be marketed as a 5,000mAh battery, but charging is an unknown point. In September, the 3C certification (image below), which indicated a 25W charging. Quite a step back from reloading S22 Ultra from 45W. Now, however, TENAA does not report this certification, so it is possible that the new S23 Ultra comes with a different kind of technology (or at least we hope).
