Samsung is certainly one of the most active manufacturers in terms of updates. In this sense, the Korean company is launching various updates for all three variants of the Galaxy XCover Pro. In fact, American and Canadian users are receiving the update to Android 13 (with the One UI 5.0) along with the December 2022 security patches (fixing 93 vulnerabilities). The same treatment, among other things, was also reserved for the international version of the smartphone.
Specifically, the latest updates for the US (SM-G715U1) and Canadian (SM-G715W) carrier-unlocked variants of the Galaxy XCover Pro come with firmware versions respectively G715U1UEUFDVKA and G715WVLUAEVK9. The international variant of the device, on the other hand, has received the update with the firmware version G715FNXXSAEVL2. For those wishing to check for any updates, simply press on “Settings” and then on “Software updates”.
We remember that the Galaxy XCover Pro was launched in 2020 with Android 10 on board (One UI 2.0).
Android 13, therefore, will be the last major update that this smartphone will receive: Samsung, in fact, has promised to release three operating system updates. However, the company will continue to roll out security updates for another two years.
