Lenovo is ready to take part in the CES in Las Vegas 2023 (5-8 January) and, according to what has recently been leaked on the net, it will be a far from opaque participation. There quantity of products ready for launch is indeed remarkable and it is an offer that ranges from laptops, tablets to get to smartphones and accessories.
The necessary premise is that the information reported below is the result of a substantial leak that took place in the morning by a reliable source (the always active Evan Blass) The press images of the products, but not even the complete technical data sheets, so this is a first smattering of the upcoming news.
LENOVO THINKPHONE
The first product is chatter ThinkPhones recently returned to the headlines in recent times with the diffusion of press images and an already quite complete technical sheet – although still to be confirmed. The design incorporates some aesthetic traits of Lenovo’s ThinkPad laptops (see in particular the finish of the back of the body) while the substance of the product is derived from the Motorola X40 launched in the Chinese market in mid-December.
Blass does not confirm the official data sheet, according to previous rumors it could include:

LENOVO TAB EXTREME
Then we move on to the tablet Lenovo Tab Extreme, a high-end proposal that should integrate the SoC Dimension 9000 and a display with a resolution of 3000 x 1876 pixels. From the press images it is possible to obtain the support for the stylus and the possibility of using it in combination with a cover with case that recalls Apple’s Magic Keyboard. In the back of the body you can see the camera with the double lens.
LENOVO SMART PAPERS
Lenovo is also preparing the debut of a e-book reader with stylus support. A product that could therefore compete with the recent Amazon Kindle Scribe and is similar to the Yoga Paper tablet with an E-ink screen also developed by Lenovo. Yoga Paper is based on Android and supports the Wacom stylus, the same features could have the new model.
LENOVO YOGA 9I 13: DUAL SCREEN LAPTOP
The Yoga 9i 13 is very interesting for those looking for laptops with different form factors than usual: it is a Windows laptop with dual screens can also be used with a physical wireless keyboard as shown in the images. In concrete terms, the user experience could be similar to that of the ThinkPad X1 Fold with the difference that the latter is equipped with a single flexible screen that can be folded, while the new Yoga has two separate screens enclosed in a folding body. This product also supports the stylus (see last image below).
PROJECT CHRONOS AND MAGICBAY 4K
We continue with two accessories: the first is identified with the code name of Project Chronos and it seems to be a device to be placed near the TV and capable of performing functions similar to those of Microsoft’s (defunct) Kinect, thus detecting the user’s movements and transforming them into inputs to interact with applications and games. Unfortunately, the details of the product that can be obtained from the images are quite scarce.
Documented then the arrival of the webcams Magic Bay 4K, a unit with support for 4K shooting (as the name suggests) and equipped with a pogo pin for connection to some laptops. Interesting fact, if confirmed, concerns the possibility of connecting to 4G networks which would make it a self-sufficient device for the transmission of images on the move.
LAPTOP YOGA, IDEAPAD AND LEGION
To close the picture the inevitable revamping of all major lines of Lenovo notebooks. In the order:
- Yoga Slim 7i Carbon Gen 8 13
- Yoga Slim 6 Jan 8 14
- Yoga 9i Jan 8 14
- Yoga 6 Gen 8 AMD 13
- ThinkBook 16p Gen 4
- IdeaPad Slim 5 14
- Legion 7 Pro 16.8
- Legion 7i Pro 16.8
- Legion 5 Pro 16.8
- Legion 5i Pro 16.8
For detailed information on the specifications we will have to wait, but it is certain Lenovo is one of the companies participating in the CES to follow with interest.
