Redmi has just announced the new ones smartphones of the series Redmi K60, Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition and a series of accessories. By the way, just before the end of 2022launched a new budget device – it’s about Redmi 12C. This model features a 6.71″ HD+ screen – 500 nits of maximum brightness – with a 5MP. On the back, on the other hand, a fingerprint recognition sensor and two photographic sensors stand out, including the main one 50MP.
The processor, however, is a MediaTek Helio G85, flanked by 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of internal memory (expandable via micro-SD up to 512 GB). In detail, the octa-core CPU is combined with a Mali-G52 GPU. The Redmi 12C, then, includes a battery of 5,000mAh (with a 10W charging adapter), a microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the design side, the phone – measuring 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.7 mm – comes with a polycarbonate body, just as the frame is made of plastic.
Finally, the total weight is about 192 grams. We’ll take care of moving everything MIUI 13 based on Android 12. In this regard, all the features of MIUI are not present since an “optimized exclusive version” is running on this smartphone.
The Redmi 12C has been launched in China in three different configurations. The base model offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and is priced at CNY 699 (about 94 euros). Following this is the 4GB + 128GB model, which is priced at CNY 799 (about 107 euros). The latest model, however, has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory and is sold at a price of CNY 899 (about 121 euros). Finally, the colors available are: Shadow Black, Sea Blue, Mint Green and Lavender.
