Missing less and less to debut in Europe of the new OnePlus 11. The smartphone, in fact, will be launched on February 7th, but not in all European countries. Particularly, German users will have to purchase the device through other countries given that OPPO – the parent company of OnePlus – has still not been able to overcome the problems related to alleged infringements of Nokia’s patents.
The lawsuit began a year ago, when Nokia started a legal battle against OPPO over some of the Chinese company’s smartphones would have violated the patents of the Finnish company. The legal battle, therefore, finally ended with a ban for OPPO to sell its smartphones in Germany (Nokia has also sued the group in other European countries). Now, according to sources close to OnePlus, the situation hasn’t changed yet: therefore OnePlus 11 cannot be officially launched on German soil. Buyers, therefore, will have to go elsewhere, for example to the Spanish, Italian or French branches of Amazon.
As for the smartphone, the new model should cost around 900 euros (for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory version). It will take around 50 euros more, however, to get the 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory configuration. Finally, on the new OnePlus 11, it will be very interesting to observe the behavior of the photographic sector curated together with the historic brand “Hasselblad”. In detail, these are three sensors: the main 50 MP, the 48 MP wide angle and the 32 MP telephoto (2x optical zoom).
