Founded in 2008 in Paris, Dontnod Entertainment only released its first narrative adventure in 2013: let’s talk about Remember Me, a title published by Capcom that was received lukewarmly by the public and critics. Instead, it was launched in 2015 Life is Strange and, this time, the French team managed to win over the hearts of gamers.

After several releases, including the acclaimed Vampyr and Tell Me Why, the renamed Don’t Nod ready for another adventure. The software house’s next project was unveiled on Twitter with a mysterious image: the new game Will it be set in the 90s?

Last October, Don’t Nod presented its financial results for the second half of 2022. The document states that the company engaged in the development of “eight original creations”including five self-published games, one co-produced title with Focus Home Entertainment, and two other games co-produced by Tolima and Tiny Bull studios.

Of these eight productions, the first was ‘presented’ by Don’t Nod a few hours ago.


“Here’s a little taste of what it is Don’t Nod Montreal is preparing!”reads the tweet published by the software house’s Twitter account.

The Canadian studio will launch the next narrative adventure by Don’t Nod. We don’t know if it will be a new Life is Strange or a possible sequel to Tell Me Why, but, judging by theimage in ‘vintage’ stylewe can assume that the story will take place in the 90’s: in fact we see a cathode ray tube television, to which a video recorder and a console are connected which seems to recall the iconic Nintendo SNES.

Attached to the image is a link to the official Don’t Nod site. The company it is in fact looking for new personnel for the project in question – which, at this point, will still be in the very early stages of development. Among the roles Don’t Nod is looking for are positions from UI Technical Designer, Animation Lead, Sound Designer and more.
