- New APIs to improve performance even with third-party apps.
- The AudioManager API will allow for better management of audio streams.
- The MediaSession API will enable better handling of HDMI inputs, and better power efficiency.

- Ability to enable audio descriptions in all apps.
- Probable introduction of Picture-in-Picture.
